Held from 2 to 6 September within the spectacular grounds of Blenheim Palace, Salon Privé brings together some of the world’s finest classic cars, supercars and hypercars alongside luxury brands, fine hospitality, jewellery, fashion and lifestyle experiences. Now in its 21st edition, the event combines the atmosphere of an elegant garden party with serious automotive pedigree, making the setting and guest experience every bit as important as the cars themselves.
Across five days, the programme ranged from the Salon Privé Concours by Aviva Private Clients and Boodles Ladies’ Day to Supercar Saturday and the event’s Sunday finale.
For Natural Green, it was another opportunity to demonstrate how planting, florals, furniture and creative styling can work together to elevate an already exceptional environment.
Creating impact at scale
One of the biggest elements of this year’s installation was the Spencer Hospitality Pavilion, a key hospitality area overlooking the South Lawn and Water Terraces.
The NGCS team prepared and installed two substantial 55-metre-long displays using living ruscus combined with carefully selected faux flowers. The scale of the installation called for meticulous preparation behind the scenes, ensuring that the finished displays felt full, elegant and consistent across their entire length.
The Spencer Pavilion is designed as a relaxed hospitality oasis within the event, combining indoor dining with a private garden and views across the lawns. Our role was to complement that setting with planting and floral detail that helped soften the structure and reinforce the sense of occasion.
It is a good example of what goes into delivering high-end event environments. The finished result may look effortless, but behind it sit detailed planning, stock preparation, transport, installation and an experienced team working to tight timescales.
Colour, florals and statement planting
Elsewhere across the site, the brief was all about creating moments of impact while maintaining the elegant, premium feel that defines Salon Privé. Striking purple and yellow table centres introduced rich colour to hospitality areas, while tall planters brought height, structure and visual interest.
Feature archways helped frame key spaces and entrances, while beautiful floral and planting displays around the Pommery bar added another layer of detail to the guest experience.
At the entrance to the Automotive Gallery, white planters filled with lush green foliage created a clean and sophisticated welcome. These continued inside with natural dividers between the luxury cars. This is where considered planting can be particularly effective. Rather than introducing hard barriers or screens, foliage can create separation and guide movement while keeping a space open, attractive and cohesive.
Boodles is synonymous with Salon Privé and its celebrated Ladies’ Day, where jewellery, fashion and exceptional cars come together in one of the event’s most glamorous settings. NGCS provided pink and grey furniture along with tables.
Introducing our new furniture collection
Salon Privé also provided the perfect setting for Natural Green to showcase some of our new furniture range, now available to hire. Beautiful furniture is an important part of event design. It encourages guests to stop, relax and connect while helping define the look and feel of a hospitality space. The natural warmth of teak works particularly well alongside planting and floral displays, creating an elegant, relaxed aesthetic that feels entirely at home in outdoor hospitality, sporting events, exhibitions and premium brand environments.
Our expanding furniture range means we can increasingly help clients create a complete space, combining planting, florals, seating, furniture, bars, structures and creative features through one experienced team.
More than decoration
For us, Salon Privé demonstrates the difference thoughtful event design can make. Plants can frame an entrance. Tall planters can divide a space. Florals can reinforce a brand palette. Furniture can encourage people to stay longer. A carefully dressed hospitality structure can feel warmer, more luxurious and more memorable.
We are delighted to have supported Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace once again and proud of the team behind another significant installation. If you are planning an event, exhibition, hospitality area, sporting occasion or brand activation, let us add the luxury.
